Getting a spot right in front at a Beyonce concert is a pretty big deal. But getting singled out by the ‘Single Ladies’ singer for a duet? Well, that's just
magical.
Thirteen-year-old Sophie got the surprise of a lifetime at a recent concert in Perth, Australia. The teen is blind in addition to having muscle and hearing challenges. During the show last Friday, a sequin-suited Beyonce knelt in front of a stunned Sophie, asking her to sing the lyrics to "Irreplaceable" into her microphone.

The former single lady singled out the young teenager at her show and introduced Sophie to the massive audience at the Perth Arena. She then asked Sophie to join her in singing the words "to the left, to the left" from her hit tune "Irreplaceable."

"I have a very special young lady here," Beyonce told the crowd. "Tell everybody your name, beautiful!" she encouraged.
"Sophie!" the young girl enthusiastically responded, and the crowd erupted into cheers.

Sophie was strategically positioned in the front row at the concert due to an elaborate plan orchestrated by her older sister, Ellie.
Ellie reportedly sent a video to Beyoncé about her younger sister and got it to her with the help of children's charity Hope for Children. "She's never really been able to go to a concert due to logistical reasons so I made a video about Sophie," Ellie said, adding: "I think someone as amazing as Sophie deserves to meet someone as amazing as you [Beyonce]," reports the Daily Mail.

Beyonce was so moved by her story that she went out of her way to make sure Sophie got some major star treatment during her show. After inviting her to sing along with her, Beyoncé's maternal instincts kicked in, and she stroked Sophie's cheek and played with her hair.

Ellie explained that her sister had no clue that she would be sharing the spotlight with her favorite singer, and the unforgettable moment came as a complete surprise. "She had no idea that she was going to sing with her. It was amazing," she said. "'It was so important for me because there's been a lot of things in life that Sophie hasn't been able to do, but she loves music, loves to dance, and loves to sing and this was just something for me to show the world how amazing she is. I've gained so much having her as a sister."

This was a very touching way for Beyonce to wrap up the Australian leg of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour before heading back home for a series of North American dates beginning at the end of November.
