Actress, Emilia Clarke been named the ‘Sexiest Woman Alive 2015’ by Esquire magazine.

The 28-year-old, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the popular American drama series, Game of Thrones is described by Esquire Magazine as “Friendly and fierce. Kid sister and killer. Movie star and girl next door”.

The men’s magazine has given the annual ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ honour to the actress who is seen tactfully nude on the cover of the magzine’s November issue. She then strikes several sultry poses inside the magazine.

Emilia revealed that she had to do an online research about Game of Thrones before auditioning for the role.

“I had two scenes which told me nothing and not very much time in which to read all those (George R.R. Martin) books. So I did what every good actor does and Wikipedia’d the living crap out of it.”
