A dispute over a seat may have caused a man to suddenly die in public. Police in China, are reviewing surveillance video of a dispute between two men that ended with one of the men dying.

According to the initial investigation, the elderly man died of a heart attack after getting into a heated argument with a younger man over a seat. According to police, the dispute lasted for about 10 minutes, with the older man slapping the younger man. The elderly man got onto bus No. 919 in Zhengzhou, Henan province at about 4:30 p.m., and asked the young man to give up his seat. When the passenger refused to do so, the two got into the heated argument and the elderly man allegedly slapped the younger man four times until other passengers separated the two. Someone offered the older man a seat, but the argument continued. Suddenly, the angry old man collapsed and died. Medical emergency workers who arrived at the scene about 5:00 p.m., tried to revive the man, but were unsuccessful.
