Ecobank Nigeria said has it commenced a campaign aimed at improving service delivery by deploying top managers as branch tellers nationwide.
This campaign, according to a statement from the bank, would give the management of the bank first-hand knowledge of the customers’ experience and their perception of service delivery across the bank’s key service points.

Based on their first-hand feedback, the bank would be better empowered to drive a positive and memorable customer service experience, for the bank’s teeming customers in Nigeria, it added.

The senior managers will work as paying and receiving tellers and ATM custodians while at the branch.

They would have the opportunity to observe the challenges faced by staff and customers and address such immediately.

Commenting on the exercise, the bank’s Head of Customer Service Quality, Itai Muktar, said: "It is an opportunity to get closer to our customers, to interact with them, to get them to have that kind of experience they always enjoy with the bank.”

He added the bank’s quest was to improve customer relationship that would be win-win for all.
